Allergy Testing in Reading
If you’re living with ongoing symptoms like sneezing, itchy eyes, nasal congestion, skin irritation or digestive discomfort, an undiagnosed allergy could be the cause. At The Forbury Clinic in Reading, we offer clear, evidence-based allergy testing to help identify common triggers and guide personalised management plans.
Our simple blood tests can help detect allergies to a wide range of substances – from everyday foods and pollens to pets and mould. Whether you’re seeking answers for yourself or a loved one, our team is here to help you get clarity and take control of your health.

Why consider allergy testing?
Allergic responses can vary widely — from mild irritation to more disruptive, chronic symptoms. Many people live with undiagnosed allergies for years, unaware that simple testing could bring answers and relief.
You may benefit from allergy testing if you’re experiencing:
- Recurrent sneezing, coughing or nasal congestion
- Skin issues such as eczema, rashes or hives
- Digestive symptoms after eating certain foods
- Persistent sinus problems or headaches
- Unexplained fatigue or foggy thinking
Understanding your allergy profile allows your consultant to advise on avoidance strategies, lifestyle changes or medical treatments tailored to you.

Explore Our Allergy Testing Panels
At The Forbury Clinic, we offer a carefully selected range of blood-based allergy test panels, designed to identify common triggers and help explain your symptoms. Whether you’re dealing with seasonal hay fever, food sensitivities, pet-related reactions or unexplained skin or respiratory issues, our allergy panels provide fast, accurate insights to support your health.
Each panel has been developed by healthcare professionals and is analysed by UK-accredited laboratories. This ensures reliable results and a clear understanding of which allergens may be affecting you. We focus on identifying raised IgE antibodies — a key marker of allergic response.
Our allergy test panels are suitable for adults and can support the investigation of symptoms such as nasal congestion, wheezing, rashes, headaches, fatigue and more.
All tests are performed on-site by our clinical team, and you’ll receive a secure report of your results. You can also book a 30-minute follow-up consultation with our Private GP to review your results and discuss treatment or next steps.

Please note, we are currently unable to offer allergy testing for patients under the age of 18.
